Conflict Resolution and Negotiation
This course equips you to handle disagreement productively instead of avoiding it or letting it escalate. You will learn to recognize the common sources and styles of workplace conflict, build core skills for resolving disputes constructively — including active listening, reframing, and mediating conflicts between other people — and develop a practical negotiation toolkit grounded in principled negotiation rather than positional bargaining. Throughout, the focus is on realistic workplace scenarios: disagreements between teammates, cross-functional friction, and the everyday negotiations that come with any collaborative job. By the end, you will be able to approach conflict as a solvable problem and negotiate agreements that hold up because both sides' real interests were addressed.
