1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using LearnAlot, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the platform.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Use a real name when registering — it's the name that will appear on any certificates you earn, and certificates are meant to be an accurate, verifiable record of who completed the course.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Share your account with others or let someone else complete coursework on your behalf
• Attempt to bypass lesson progress tracking or quiz scoring
• Use the platform to upload or distribute unlawful, abusive, or infringing content
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the platform or other accounts

4. Certificates

A certificate is issued once you complete all lessons in a course and pass its final quiz with a score of at least 70%. Certificates are tied to your account and the specific course content at the time of completion. The platform administrator may revoke a certificate — for example, if it was obtained in violation of these terms — in which case its public verification page will clearly show it as revoked.

5. Course content

Course materials are provided for your personal learning use. You may not republish, resell, or redistribute course content without permission.

6. No warranty

LearnAlot is provided "as is." While we aim for course content to be accurate and the platform to be available and reliable, we don't guarantee uninterrupted access or that content is free of errors.

7. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you use LearnAlot, we store:

• Your name and email address, provided when you register
• A securely hashed version of your password (never the password itself, in plain text)
• Your course enrollments, lesson completion status, and quiz attempts and scores
• Certificates issued to your account

2. How we use it

This information is used only to operate the platform: authenticating your account, tracking your progress through courses, scoring quizzes, generating certificates, and letting you (and anyone you share a certificate with) verify that a certificate is genuine. We don't sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing.

3. What's publicly visible

A certificate's public verification page shows your name, the course title, and the completion date to anyone who has the certificate's code or QR code. This is by design — it's what makes a certificate verifiable — but it means you shouldn't register with a name you don't want associated with a publicly checkable certificate.

4. Cookies

LearnAlot uses a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

5. Data retention and deletion

We retain your account data for as long as your account exists. If you'd like your account and associated data deleted, contact the site administrator.
