Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving
This course builds practical critical thinking and problem-solving skills you can apply immediately to real decisions at work and in daily life. You will learn what critical thinking actually means, how to recognize the cognitive biases that quietly distort everyday judgment, and how to evaluate evidence and sources with appropriate skepticism. You will then learn structured methods for defining problems accurately, finding root causes rather than treating symptoms, and systematically generating and evaluating solutions. Finally, you will learn to make sound decisions under uncertainty, spot common logical fallacies in arguments (including your own), and communicate your reasoning clearly and persuasively to others.
