Leadership Principles and Practice
This course gives you a grounded, practical foundation in what leadership actually is and how effective leaders operate day to day. You will learn to distinguish leadership from management, recognize and flex between different leadership styles, and understand the sources of power and influence available to you regardless of title. You will also build a framework for making sound ethical decisions under pressure and practice decision-making models that reduce bias and improve judgment. By the end, you will be able to diagnose a leadership situation, choose an appropriate approach, and defend your decisions with a clear rationale.
