Public Speaking and Persuasive Presentations
This course is focused specifically on the craft of live public speaking and persuasion — not everyday workplace communication, but the skills needed to stand in front of an audience and move them. You will learn how to manage speech anxiety and build genuine stage presence through posture, gesture, and vocal technique. You will learn the classical tools of persuasion (ethos, pathos, logos), how to build a persuasive speech using a proven structural sequence, and how to use storytelling to make an argument memorable. Finally, you will practice handling live audience interaction, including difficult questions and skeptical listeners, so you can deliver a polished, persuasive talk under real conditions.
